Last updated: 10/07/2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to the Special Self Defense Workshop scheduled for Sunday, 19 July 2026.

By registering for the workshop and making payment, you agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Registration Contribution

The minimum registration contribution for the workshop is Rs. 2,000 per participant.

Participants may voluntarily contribute a higher amount if they wish to support the wider training initiative.

The amount paid confirms the participant’s registration only after payment, required details, and consent/undertaking requirements are completed.

2. Participant Cancellation

If a registered participant is unable to attend the workshop, they may request cancellation by emailing:

support@agnisamaj.com

The cancellation request must include:

  1. Participant name.
  2. Registered email address.
  3. Registered phone number.
  4. Payment date.
  5. Transaction ID or payment proof.
  6. Reason for cancellation.

3. Refund Window

Refund requests received at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop start time may be considered for refund.

Refund requests received less than 72 hours before the scheduled workshop start time may not be eligible for refund, because venue, trainer, administrative, communication, and operational arrangements may already have been committed.

4. No-Show Policy

If a participant does not attend the workshop after successful registration and does not submit a valid cancellation request within the refund window, the registration contribution will generally not be refunded.

Failure to attend due to personal reasons, travel delay, late arrival, incorrect contact details, failure to check messages, or failure to follow instructions will be treated as a no-show unless the organizer decides otherwise in exceptional circumstances.

5. Late Arrival

Participants are expected to arrive on time as instructed in the confirmation or reminder communication.

Late arrival may result in missed training time or denial of entry if entry at that stage would disrupt the workshop or create safety concerns.

Late arrival will not automatically qualify for a refund.

6. Incomplete Consent or Undertaking

Participation in the workshop is subject to completion of the required consent and undertaking process.

If a participant fails or refuses to complete the required consent/undertaking, the organizer may deny participation.

Refund eligibility in such cases will depend on the facts, timing, and whether the organizer had already reserved the seat and made operational arrangements.

7. Minor Participants

Participants below 18 years of age must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

If a minor participant arrives without required parent/guardian consent, the organizer may deny participation.

Such denial will not automatically qualify for a refund if the requirement was communicated before the workshop.

8. Duplicate Payment

If a participant is charged more than once for the same registration due to a duplicate payment, payment gateway issue, bank issue, or participant error, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification.

To request correction of a duplicate payment, email:

support@agnisamaj.com

Please include payment proof, transaction IDs, registered name, phone number, email address, and date/time of payment.

9. Failed or Pending Payment

If payment fails, remains pending, or is debited without registration confirmation, the participant should contact support@agnisamaj.com with payment proof and transaction details.

If the amount is not received by the organizer, the participant may need to contact the bank, UPI app, card issuer, wallet, or payment gateway.

The organizer can confirm registration only after successful payment verification.

10. Payment Gateway Charges

Refunds, where approved, may be subject to deduction of payment gateway charges, bank charges, transaction charges, taxes, or administrative costs, if applicable.

The net refund amount may therefore be lower than the amount originally paid.

11. Amount Paid Above Minimum Registration Contribution

If a participant voluntarily pays more than the minimum registration contribution, refund treatment will depend on the cancellation timing and the facts of the case.

Where a refund is approved, the organizer may refund the eligible amount after considering the total amount paid, applicable deductions, and the nature of the participant’s cancellation request.

To avoid misunderstanding, participants who contribute above the minimum amount should do so only after understanding that the additional amount is voluntary.

12. Organizer Cancellation

If the organizer cancels the workshop entirely and does not provide a replacement date, credit, transfer, or alternative arrangement, eligible registered participants may receive a refund as decided by the organizer.

Refunds in such cases may still be subject to payment gateway, bank, or transaction deductions where applicable.

13. Rescheduling by Organizer

The organizer may reschedule the workshop due to trainer unavailability, venue issue, weather, public order concerns, safety concerns, administrative reasons, low registration numbers, force majeure, or any other operational reason.

If the workshop is rescheduled, registered participants may be offered one or more of the following:

  1. Participation on the revised date.
  2. Transfer to a future workshop.
  3. Credit for a related training or learning program.
  4. Refund, where approved by the organizer.

14. Venue Change

The exact venue is subject to change.

The public location may be described as “Near Lajpat Nagar Metro Station, Delhi“, while exact venue details are shared only with registered participants.

A change of exact venue within the same general area will not automatically qualify for a refund.

If the venue is changed materially in a way that makes attendance impractical for a registered participant, the participant may contact the organizer for review.

15. Denial of Entry or Removal for Misconduct

The organizer may deny entry or remove a participant for unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, abusive, intoxicated, suspicious, or inappropriate conduct, or for violation of the Terms and Conditions.

In such cases, the participant may not be eligible for a refund.

16. Course Access and Bonus Inclusions

Registration may include access to online courses or related learning resources.

Refund requests after course access has already been issued may be reviewed differently from refund requests made before access is issued.

If a participant receives access to bundled online courses, digital resources, or other benefits, the organizer may consider that while deciding refund eligibility.

17. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method or another method decided by the organizer.

Refund processing may take time depending on the payment gateway, bank, UPI system, card issuer, wallet, or other payment service provider.

The organizer is not responsible for delays caused by banks, gateways, UPI systems, wallets, or third-party service providers.

18. Incorrect Details

The organizer is not responsible for failed communication, missed venue details, missed reminders, delayed course access, or registration issues caused by incorrect email address, phone number, spelling, payment details, or other information submitted by the participant.

Incorrect details will not automatically qualify for refund.

19. Exceptional Cases

The organizer may consider exceptional refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Exceptional approval does not create a general right, precedent, or obligation to approve similar requests in the future.

20. How to Request a Refund

I confirm that I am voluntarily registering for and participating in the Special Self Defense Workshop.

I understand that participation is not compulsory.

I understand that I may choose not to participate in any activity, drill, exercise, or demonstration if I feel uncomfortable, unsafe, unwell, or unable to do so.

I understand that I must immediately inform the trainer or organizer if I feel pain, dizziness, discomfort, fear, breathing difficulty, injury, panic, or any other concern during the workshop.

3. Nature of the Workshop

I understand that the workshop may include physical movement, practical drills, demonstrations, basic self-defense movements, situational awareness training, reaction exercises, partner-based activity, supervised practice, and safety-related instruction.

I understand that the workshop is intended for awareness, confidence building, basic practical exposure, and responsible self-protection.

I understand that the workshop does not guarantee personal safety, legal protection, physical superiority, fighting ability, martial arts mastery, protection from crime, or success in any real-life confrontation.

4. Physical Risk Acknowledgement

I understand that self-defense training involves inherent physical risk.

Possible risks may include death, fatigue, strain, sprain, bruising, pain, fall, impact, accidental contact, minor injury, serious injury, aggravation of an existing medical condition, emotional discomfort, or other physical or mental stress.

I accept that these risks may arise even when the organizer, trainer, volunteers, and venue team take reasonable precautions.

I agree to participate responsibly, follow instructions, and avoid reckless, aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.

5. Health and Fitness Declaration

I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the workshop.

I confirm that I have not been advised by a doctor or qualified medical professional to avoid such physical activity.

I understand that I am responsible for assessing my own health, fitness, and suitability before registering and participating.

I agree to disclose to the organizer or trainer, before participation, any relevant medical condition, injury, limitation, disability, recent surgery, pregnancy, chronic pain, heart condition, breathing issue, neurological condition, mental health concern, medication, allergy, or other health issue that may affect my safe participation.

I understand that the organizer and trainer are not medical professionals unless specifically stated, and that they rely on information provided by the participant.

I understand that I should consult a qualified medical professional before participating if I have any doubt about my fitness, health, or suitability for the workshop.

6. Responsibility to Follow Instructions

I agree to follow all instructions given by the trainer, organizer, venue team, and authorized volunteers.

I agree to stop immediately if instructed to stop.

I agree not to attempt any movement, technique, drill, or activity beyond my comfort, ability, or instruction.

I agree not to use excessive force, unsafe contact, sudden aggression, or unauthorized techniques during the workshop.

I understand that failure to follow instructions may result in denial of participation, removal from the session, or cancellation of my registration.

7. Lawful and Responsible Use

I understand that the workshop is for lawful self-protection, awareness, discipline, and responsible personal safety.

I agree not to misuse any technique, knowledge, discussion, or training received during the workshop.

I agree not to use the training for aggression, intimidation, bullying, revenge, provocation, vigilantism, unlawful violence, or any illegal purpose.

I understand that I alone am responsible for my actions during and after the workshop.

8. Real-Life Lawful Self-Defense Principles

I understand that the workshop is intended to teach awareness, prevention, confidence, discipline, basic self-protection concepts, and responsible conduct. It is not intended to encourage aggression, confrontation, vigilantism, revenge, provocation, intimidation, unlawful violence, or misuse of physical skills.

I understand and agree that any self-defense knowledge or skill learned during the workshop must be used only lawfully, responsibly, and only when genuinely necessary for self-protection or protection of another person where legally permissible.

If I ever face a real-life safety situation, I agree to follow the following lawful conduct principles to the best of my ability:

  1. Avoidance first: I should avoid unsafe places, unsafe people, unnecessary confrontation, escalation, provocation, and ego-driven conflict wherever reasonably possible.
  2. Awareness and distance: I should maintain awareness, create distance, move toward safety, and look for exits, help, lighted areas, public places, or safer positions wherever possible.
  3. Verbal de-escalation: Where safe and practical, I should use clear verbal boundaries, calm communication, warning, refusal, or disengagement before any physical action.
  4. Seek help where possible: If there is time and opportunity, I should seek help from nearby people, family, venue/security staff, police, emergency services, or other public authorities instead of taking physical action.
  5. Physical action only when necessary: I should use physical self-defense only when I reasonably believe there is an immediate or continuing threat to my safety or the safety of another person, and non-physical options are unavailable, unsafe, or insufficient.
  6. Proportionate response: Any physical response should be limited to what reasonably appears necessary to prevent, stop, or escape the threat. It should not be excessive, punitive, retaliatory, or continued after the threat has stopped.
  7. Stop when safe: I should stop using physical force as soon as I am able to escape, create safety, get help, or when the immediate threat is no longer continuing.
  8. Escape and report: After reaching safety, I should seek help, contact trusted persons, venue/security staff, police, emergency services, or medical assistance as appropriate.
  9. Medical and legal responsibility: If anyone is injured, I should seek appropriate medical or emergency help where reasonably possible and cooperate with lawful authorities.
  10. No revenge or pursuit: I should not chase, punish, retaliate, threaten, humiliate, record for public shaming, or continue confrontation after the immediate danger has ended.
  11. No unlawful weapons or escalation: I should not carry or use illegal weapons or unsafe objects, and I should not escalate a situation unnecessarily.
  12. Legal consequences: I understand that misuse of self-defense skills may create criminal, civil, financial, reputational, or personal consequences for me.

I understand that the right of private defence, lawful self-protection, and use of force depend on the facts, circumstances, immediacy of threat, proportionality, available alternatives, and applicable law. I understand that the workshop does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee legal protection in any real-life incident.

If urgent assistance is required, I authorize the organizer or its team to seek basic first aid, emergency support, ambulance support, or medical assistance as reasonably considered necessary.

Health and Safety Disclaimer

Last updated: 10/07/2026

This Health and Safety Disclaimer applies to every person who registers for and participates in the Special Self Defense Workshop organised under the Agni Samaj platform.

This Disclaimer forms part of the registration terms for the Workshop and should be read together with the Terms and Conditions, Participant Consent and Undertaking, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Workshop Participation Rules.

By registering for or participating in the Workshop, the participant, and where applicable the participant’s parent or legal guardian, confirms that this Disclaimer has been read, understood, and accepted.

  1. Nature of the Workshop

The Special Self Defense Workshop is an educational and practical training programme designed to introduce participants to beginner-friendly self-defense concepts, situational awareness, preventive personal safety, confidence building, and supervised practical exercises.

The Workshop may include stretching, warm-up exercises, balance training, movement drills, reaction exercises, controlled partner practice, supervised demonstrations, defensive techniques, controlled physical contact, and other practical activities appropriate to the training programme.

The Workshop is intended solely for educational purposes. It does not constitute military training, law enforcement training, professional combat instruction, medical treatment, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, psychological counselling, or legal advice.

Participation in the Workshop does not guarantee personal safety, protection from crime, physical superiority, mastery of martial arts, or success in any real-life confrontation.

  1. Inherent Risks of Participation

Participation in physical training carries inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated, even where reasonable care is taken.

These risks may include, without limitation:

  • muscle soreness
  • fatigue
  • strains
  • sprains
  • bruises
  • abrasions
  • accidental impact
  • falls
  • joint injuries
  • dehydration
  • dizziness
  • aggravation of existing medical conditions
  • serious physical injury

The nature and severity of any injury cannot always be predicted.

  1. Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Inherent Risk

Participation in the Workshop is entirely voluntary.

The participant voluntarily accepts the inherent risks that naturally arise from participating in supervised physical self-defense training, to the extent that those risks arise from the nature of the activity itself and not from any failure by the organiser or trainers to exercise reasonable care.

Nothing contained in this Disclaimer excludes, limits, or affects any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

  1. Participant Responsibility

Each participant is solely responsible for honestly assessing their own physical condition before participating.

Participants should not participate if they know, or reasonably believe, that participation may place themselves or others at unnecessary risk.

Participants should participate only within their own physical ability, fitness, comfort level, and experience.

If at any time a participant believes that continuing would be unsafe, they should immediately stop participating and notify the trainer or organiser.

Participants remain responsible for exercising reasonable care for their own health and safety throughout the Workshop.

  1. Health Declaration

Participants should inform the organiser or trainer before participation if they have any relevant health condition or circumstance, including but not limited to:

  • recent injury
  • recent surgery
  • fractures

  • cardiovascular conditions
  • respiratory disorders
  • asthma
  • epilepsy
  • neurological disorders
  • balance disorders
  • pregnancy
  • allergies relevant to participation
  • medication that may affect balance, coordination, judgment, alertness, or physical performance
  • any medical restriction on physical activity

Participants should not conceal any injury, illness, or medical condition that may reasonably affect safe participation.

If there is any uncertainty regarding medical suitability, participants should consult an appropriately qualified medical professional before attending.

The organiser and trainers rely upon the accuracy and completeness of information provided by participants.

  1. Trainer’s Safety Authority

The trainer or organiser may modify, restrict, suspend, discontinue, or refuse participation in any activity where they reasonably believe continued participation may present an unacceptable safety risk to the participant or to others.

Any such decision is made solely in the interests of health and safety.

  1. Duty to Follow Safety Instructions

Participants must:

  • follow all instructions given by the trainer, organiser, venue team, and authorised volunteers;
  • immediately stop any activity when instructed;
  • report any pain, injury, dizziness, breathing difficulty, discomfort, panic, excessive fatigue, or other health concern without delay;
  • immediately report any unsafe behaviour, unsafe training practice, equipment defect, or hazard observed during the Workshop to the trainer or organiser;
  • avoid attempting movements beyond their level of ability or instruction;
  • avoid reckless or excessive force during practical exercises.
  1. Clothing, Equipment, and Training Conditions

Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity.

Participants should wear footwear appropriate for the training environment, unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.

Jewellery, watches, loose accessories, and any item that may increase the risk of injury should be removed before practical training.

Participants should use only equipment approved for the Workshop.

Participants are encouraged to remain adequately hydrated before, during, and after the Workshop.

The Workshop may take place in indoor or outdoor conditions. Depending on the venue and the weather on the day, heat, humidity, sun exposure, uneven ground, or wet or slippery surfaces may be present. Participants should take reasonable care in light of the conditions and should notify the trainer immediately if any weather or ground condition causes them difficulty.

  1. Medical Emergencies

In the event that a participant appears to require urgent medical assistance, the organiser, trainer, venue team, or authorised volunteers may arrange reasonable emergency assistance, including basic first aid where available, contacting the participant’s nominated emergency contact, calling emergency services, or arranging transport to an appropriate medical facility where considered reasonably necessary.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that accurate emergency contact details are provided during registration.

Any medical, hospital, transport, consultation, or related expenses remain the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  1. Infectious Illness

Participants should not attend the Workshop if they are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness that may reasonably place others at risk.

Participants should also comply with any applicable public health or venue requirements in force on the date of the Workshop.

  1. Participants Below Eighteen Years of Age

Participants below eighteen years of age may participate only with the informed consent of their parent or legal guardian.

For every participant below eighteen years of age, the parent or legal guardian must be the person who accepts this Disclaimer and authorises the participant’s registration and participation, and who provides the health declarations and emergency authorisation on the participant’s behalf.

The parent or legal guardian confirms, to the best of their knowledge, that the minor participant is medically suitable to participate, undertakes to disclose any relevant medical condition, injury, limitation, medication, or health concern affecting safe participation, and authorises reasonable emergency assistance as described in this Disclaimer where required.

The organiser may require additional parent or guardian verification before permitting participation.

  1. Personal Responsibility During and After Training

Participants remain responsible for exercising sound judgment during the Workshop.

Any self-defense knowledge or techniques learned during the Workshop should be used responsibly, proportionately, and only where lawful.

Participants remain solely responsible for their actions during and after the Workshop.

  1. No Medical Advice

Nothing presented during the Workshop constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or healthcare guidance.

Participants should seek advice from appropriately qualified healthcare professionals regarding any medical concern before participating.

  1. Personal Belongings

Participants remain responsible for their own personal belongings.

The organiser is not responsible for loss of, theft of, or damage to personal property brought to the Workshop.

  1. Relationship with Other Policies

This Disclaimer supplements, and should be read together with, the Terms and Conditions, Participant Consent and Undertaking, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Workshop Participation Rules.

If any provision of this Disclaimer is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.

Nothing contained in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
